Employees from multiple groups and regions targeted. DD teams from Bangalore and Santa Clara would be hit. So would ECDM team in Irvine and Louisville.

According to Beth P this week, eCDM is very much part of the future. New organization structure in place. Not sure if layoffs are part of this reorg.
Must have meant April of 19'. Lol
I guess this massive layoff rumor for last week of April was BS? Time to stop looking at this stupid site..
They fire all the time. When I was let go, I was one of only 8 that week. They stay under the radar and will keep it that way. So far, out of my group, there have been two successful EEO suits. You won’t find that anywhere either. Do you really think the ZZZ list is all voluntary resignations? I have a bridge for you.
that`s accurate, those who peeping and posting here is tracked by hackers and removed from payroll with an NDA to sign before leaving the premises. make sure to have a job in place for those who spread bad rumors.
Lol yet another fake news. I know people who post here are grumpy and sad they got fired and don't work at dell anymore but posting fake rumors are childish!
Letters? I've seen groups/people be brought into offices and then leave unemployed.
pretty sure those getting are required to sign an NDA in order to receive their monetary package. meanwhile, we a hiring!
You do not get announcement, you get letters. And be gone within a short period. Nobody announces this. Only those getting will know.
apparently not.
'would be' or 'will be'. Would be means you don't really know.
Layoffs would be announced Wednesday this week.
Dell doesn't do "massive layoffs". They slowly whittle away at each group and try to replace the highest paid older employees with younger inexperienced ones. Since there is very little innovation at Dell they don't need the experienced people anyway.
ISG was told that by the end of April JC will have made a determination as to what apps are staying and what will be terminated. I don't think this is fake news.
Hahahahaha Just like all the other massive layoffs promised "at the end of the month".
The prank gets a little old after 42 times or so.
Regular massive layoffs are the only way Dell will be able to get itself out of this debt pickle.
Fake news
Lots of good people - it’s sad...
Not surprised about eCDM. It was on the right track at one time, but went downhill fast. The management team on that product are notorious for having a reputation of failed products at EMC. They somehow manage to pop up as senior director on a different product. Some people are just protected apparently.
