What are your thoughts on Q1? Which direction do you think we will head in? Buyout by CLINK or bankruptcy?

"Out of the box thinkers and hard charges rise to the top"

?????

Obviously somebody in the executive level who hasn't worked with the 'real' company builders - the regular employees! Go work with the field techs, or any other employee that has been overwhelmed with the mismanagement/failed mergers and you might get an idea of the real state of the company.

Come out of your bubble for once.

This site is full of haters and pompous asses. Windstream is a great place to work. Out of the box thinkers and hard charges rise to the top. If your experience was as you describe, better look inward.

My experience has been fantastic.

I was rif'd by a company prior to working at Windstream. I have nothing bad to say about them. So glad rhe windstream door opened for me. Blessed to be at the Stream!

Hope your future endeavors pay off.

Wish I could post an image here... Koolaid man would be busting through the wall .... Oh Yeah! ..... everything is fine... everything is fine.. look raises for the hourly! 1.5 sh-- percent while ignoring the last years of no raises.. everything is fine. Drink more koolaid... Your health benefits are a sh--show... 401k is matched at the end of the year - with windstream stock.

When the money is flowing its easy to have integrity; you can measure your leaders worth when money is tight. Salaried employees are working more hours to make up for the massive cuts - yet no increase... no bonus? Hourly gets left behind for years with meager - at best - raises? Then the medical benes are cut/reduced putting more costs onto the employee - effectively a wage decrease.

And still C level gets their $$$$$

Why do "we just lack the right people to run it"? Because those people are marketable and left long ago due to Windstream's hostile work environment. A string of bad managers gets you that. Glad I got out while I could - much happier now having a management team that supports its people and doesnt squash them.

Earnings are going to be great!! Don’t listen to the haters and the negativity. We have a world class network, however we just lack the right people to run it. Imagine how well we will be doing once we start installing all the orders from Q1.

Soo no raises this year, no sponsorship of party in the park. no employee support for chase corporate challenge. I am not sure what is left to cut besides headcount. This is a trend that is not going in the direction that they had planned. That earnings call in a few weeks is going to be rough. Batten down the hatches and update those resumes.

Lol - C-Link isn't doing well either. They have their own lay-off page here full of pissed off employees. This article is from today...

Their take is about the same as everyone elses... - Windstream is expected to lose more value. The split stock will keep us from going into the pink sheets.

Remember to move your 401ks away from WS stock... lol

I also bankruptcy in our near future. 2 years with only execs getting raises; constant RIFs; and plummeting stock price. I don’t see any chance of recovery and TT is leading us on the downward spiral. No company would want us with our heavy debt and outdated network.

CLINK Or should I say Level3 doesn't want us... The only thing of value is the ILEC holdings... But all the plant is owned by uniti so.... Yea I think we are going to see a bankruptcy.
