Heard SRC Penang only will be there for sometime till the migration complete and the servers moving to AWS. Then after SRC will be eliminated following with Shugart? Anyone heard about this and by when management planning to execute this?

I concur with India prediction. CIO has done it before. He will move everything to India like he did at his previous employer.
concur on your predictions, seagate don't need a centralised hub for IT data centers, US head office could cater large volumes of cloud engineers

Seagate will have only two data center, one in Longmont and another one is 'AWS'. And definitely they don't require a lot of IT people to handle these two DCs.
Penang SRC will be there for maximum 3 years time. The best replacement for Penang SRC is somewhere in cheaper labor cost country where R.N (beloved CIO) come from.
R.N will last for another few quarters from now then this crap will be dumped!
my predictions... hehe
With AWS, why do we need Shugart IT when US headquarters can handle it seamlessly 24/7 globally?
Why move OKC to Shugart the AWS, instead go from OKC to AWS idiots!
