is going to layoff sooner than May. Because the plant manager got a promotion and he said re-evaluation for the plant will be in May well he is gone and corporate brass was walking around last week. SC got hit hard for factory workers.
Next couple weeks big announcement is coming 300 blue collar workers because we have no work for next year. Also another 100 white collar for the campus.

The “I have a pulse, so I’m entitled to a job” mentality, combined with the reach minimum expectation in four hours, then watch movies for four hours convention will be just as much a factor as the idiotic decisions made by the corporate officers in eventually closing the plant.
The glory days of the Union are over. Unions continue to be parasites that offer nothing but due collection services and drive jobs away from "union friendly" states. GE will have to shutdown union plants to be competitive.
