Funny how this board has become a discussion board for random articles people link to. There's reddit or facebook for these kind of stuff. I suppose if you like having your news filtered by anonymous people online with unknown motivation, then this board for you.
Still perpetrates the urban legend that Intel was offered to make the first iPhone CPU. That never happened, and Ottelini‘s statements on the subject have been widely misinterpreted. In 2005, Intel did not have a chip that could have satisfied smartphone power requirements. Heck, we hardly have such a chip NOW. The whole thing is a myth.
Good article, thanks for posting. President Trump has blocked the Broadcom bid. We all know that Apple wants to own every IP, from CPU to modem.
