This week will be a stressful one coming up. I hope whomever they layoff will find a job soon. It time to get the files updated. At least they were transparent that a reorganization was/is going to happen. But always :(.

it's akin to 'spring cleaning'.
Storage is on life support. Directors putting distance from the group. No loyalty and courage to stand up
for their teams.
Hopefully there won’t be one - but in reference to the cyclone comment a few post down - I’ve heard the same thing. Only time will tell. None the less it is a good idea to in general to have things ready. It’s dell and dell will always have layoffs.
That’s what most big corporations do...
Nope - but u believe what u want
Fake news
Dell use neither stack rank nor MBO, but uses cost per role defined, and attitude.

Have no idea it could be US or it could be all - it’s the storage group (I think the Cyclone comment - touched on this earlier last week - by whomever posted it)

I have no idea - how they pick people -

There is mgt meeting this week and more then likely we will be told this week - is the feeling that people have as well. We were told there IS a reorganization coming - how big — I honestly have no idea.
But these always bring stress and sadness - because even if your not let go - somebody you know maybe. It’s not a fun time for anybody. But, it is a time to be mentally prepared. So, I am glad they were honest about it. Does it make it any better, maybe - maybe not.
Any layoffs planned I'm Bangalore
Does Dell use Stack Ranking or Management by Objectives (MBOs) or does it matter at this stage ?
Is there a layoff this week? I know that JC in DPD is having all these strategy meetings where everyone has to basically justify their position and how it adheres to the strategy going forward.
