The rumor is about 220 hourly to be cut but that is just a rumor, people will find out in these all employee meetings on 15th/16th of February, that’s the only thing you can go on as of now, don’t be afraid to ask questions even though you might not get a straight answer as they do like to “beat around the bush”

The highest number I have seen was in the 7600s so that’s 500people right their that’s a lot, but then they are still hiring machine apprentices doesn’t make sense

When did you sign that?

Last rumor was, anything above 7100 would be cut. I’m guessing that’s why they had us all sign the form saying we are giving up our seniority for the level load.

The original number was 12000 total worldwide, any idea where they're at?

What seniority numbers are they in now?

Now that projects and budgets are set for the year, I don't see how engineering can avoid being "right sized".

@Rxht4mF-1lnb- Fear not you and your "buddy group" will be included in the fair share...

I'm sure the Executive in charge will get a nice bonus for ensuring the cuts happen

There has to be cuts. Orders of gas turbines continue to plummet. My only hope is that the “buddy group” gets their fair share this time. Usually they always survive.

Some affected employees in Greenville will be notified starting Monday. More salaried again. I don't know which groups, though.

If you look at the numbers you understand that more layoffs are coming unless somehow more work gets transfered in. Dates and meetings are just guesses by the paranoid. Best thing to do is be prepared for whatever happens.

Been hearing this for months. It has to be coming to lite. We’re down to 15 units for the yr. I’m assuming there will be more salary as well
