2004, Pearson made news for leasing 102,751 square feet on the 9th and 10th floors of The Newbry for a 16-year term and moving 500 jobs into the city.
Forward to 2018, and Pearson is leaving the 9th floor with a reduction of 60,000 square feet.
With the whole charade of working from home, few employees come into the office regularly, and with all of the layoffs, Pearson apparently can't justify the rent.
75 Arlington floors gone. St James floors gone. How much longer before the lone Boston office is closed for good?
