Rather than hiring and training their own the VPs are at all time panic. Using their VPhood to make any and every average employee that is not paid by their cost center put all their effort to drive their livelihood. At this point each of us individual contributors have 5 matrix bosses ranging from our real manager to random directors and VPs. Basically a reverse multiplier. Span and layers means nothing when one can abuse power and abuse the matrix system.

for yall dumb dumb who say this is not many we have to support their stakeholders too. try x5 the amount of stakeholders and mouths to spoonfeed for people that don't pay you but threatened you.
