At least 10% layoff coming in Q2 to try to give the stock price another artificial boost.

Regarding stock splits, etc.

If you visit Yahoo Finance, visit the INTC page, and look at the Chart for historical price. Select MAX, and you will see the entire price history, adjusted for all splits.

August 1980 intra day high was $75.83, and closed at $74.88

Easy to find this kind of information for any stock.

That said, there are layoffs that occurred in 2017, and they were not being called ACT or layoffs. This action continues in 2018. Instead, they were or are reorganizations that eliminated positions. Some are being offered those new positions in a new organization after their current job is being eliminated. Some result in a grade reduction, while retaining current salary. Some retain current grade level. Some are not being offered a new position, but instead a period of time to find a new job. If a new job at Intel is not found or if person does not like offered position, they are separated with a severance package.

PTD Portland Development Group, that is the team in Hillsboro slacking away for two extra years now on 10nm. They hire a ton of PhD, all foreigners and trapped by immigration. They slave 7 days a week and till they get their green card are like prisoners.

Those that get green card run like crazy to get out

The stock was over $51 (adjusted) back in August 2000. The current price ($50.08) is not the all time high.

The record high was low to mid 70s 18 or 18 years ago. It might have a new recent high. But a new high will never occur - PowerPoint pushers , backstabbers and clowns is all that remain.
