Am I understanding that email correctly? They're going to start doing more monthly audits, so that means they will be hiring right? Kind of a slap in the face that they are going to hire more people to micromanage us even more while laying hundreds of us off?

After reading all the posts on this website, it is understandable that Humana went to the MET team. Associates complain about how bad their coach is and did their bad coach give them "bad audits?" MET implemented to give an unbiased audit but once again, it is a big fail. Too many variables and unrealistic expectations from Humana. I feel like a robot!
MET Member experience team! Bunch of CLOWNS playing a gotcha game with RNs! How HAH THINKS this crap is beneficial is beyond me! Feel like kindergartener getting hands slapped and now 2x per quarter! Another piece of the HAH dysfunction. Let the layoffs begin! Most of us will be glad to get away from this awful job!
Spent Monday and Tuesday in tears from the stress. Today, I just don’t care. This job is not worth my health.
They will have the time to do more audits since 1/3 of the HCMs are being laid off.
I agree below poster. I’ve been working the last two days on the brink of tears from all the stress.
Mass layoffs coming, changes in how we manage members (Managed to Monitored, ect.), and they want to up the audits? How in the heck do they think one can be getting in all those opportunities with each call knowing there is a toxic environment, morale is nonexistent, and they micro manage/aux/and listen in on us? They should be happy they have people left to do this job under such circumstances!
Newbies 'cost' less-- bottom line.
What the individual here 10 years earned will not be the case for the new person coming in... I imagine 1/2 to a third of what the experienced person received. Numbers game... that is why those here for many years-- 20+ were given 'retiree' option, then they went to the performance evals... and I imagine it will go from there.
Please Take care everyone. Please realize H will do what is right for the biz... nothing more, nothing less.

Is this what they are doing in practice though? I’m sure they have numbers to meet, too. I have regularly been receiving more than 2 audits per quarter already (in addition to the coach audits), , but you are saying the requirement was one? Has anyone actually received only one audit per quarter from the member experience team?

It is now 2 audits per quarter instead of one a quarter by the audit team. Plus one a month from your coach. It is only one extra every 3 months. Gone from 4 a quarter to 5 a quarter.....
I have been told personally that going forward there will be more focus on quality rather than quantity. They feel the push for quantity has meant a sacrifice in quality and want to get back to superior service.
Or are they hoping HCMs will get so ticked off at this nonsense they will leave? Pick pick pick until people get fed up

I can confirm that yes they will be hiring. Late February/early March positions for MET will go live on the career site. All associates will receive a minimum of 3 audits a month going forward.
Correct. What they aren’t laying off they will be flushing the rest of us out. Don’t know if they’re wanting us to leave or if they want us to trip up and screw up so bad they get rid of us. Very nice.
Why would they be hiring more? Makes no sense.
