There is no positive feedback at Windstreamwindstream They've work their employees in a stressful environment and never gives positive reinforcement. You come to work in the morning thinking today I'm going to make a difference I'm going to get things done but you spend the day putting out fires all /and you go home feeling defeated. Their systems are awful they have not integrated the companies they bought The only people that are happy are the ones that are related to each other and they were a lot of them A lot of inbreds at Windstream. They never incorporate any of the good things from the companies they buy/they just try to fit everybody into their little square peg

I tried for several years...no one listens...their employee surveys are useless...as one staff manager said back in October....My biggest fear is employees just giving up...and after many long hours, juggling several initiatives, being pulled constantly in several directions, which changed almost daily...I decided enough of this...my health, my family and my sanity are much more important than this company who has no respect for their loyal employeesand again upper management does not listen...therefore there is no end in sight...stock market proves this!

You bet your butt that that's what our team will be doing! What's our alternative, maintain status quo and hope something else changes things magically? Either be a part of the solution or do like you said and just leave, I wouldn't want to have someone with your mindset on my team anyway. Maybe I can't fix it, but I can walk away saying I tried. "
So sad to stay there just for a paycheck...stand up and get out ... make a better life for yourself ...the CEO and executives don’t recognize your contributions and they certainly don’t appreciate your hard work...stand up for your values and morals...get out of this company, I did and have no regrets!
Difficult people to work for, you never know who to trust. We got those happy go lucky people that always seem to land on their feet and be smiling but never working they just keep giving the work to everybody else because they know somebody. And then there's those people that get promoted and drag the same people with them from job to job when they're not even a good and what they're doing They get pulled to a safe location so they won't get laid off. And that is why they have problems at Windstream. people making the decisions have no idea what they're doing. And they never ask the experts, people that Have been doing it for years they never respect anyone's opinion, educated opinions and suggestion are overlooked because of somebody's insecurity. And Lord knows don't ever tell a manager They are wrong, when they are wrong. Once they decide they are right you better get it in writing because they will blame it on you. But when you feed it back to them later and they find out you were right cc everyone haha ....their egos are ridiculous. There's that egos are the one of the biggest problems managers have it Windstream. And the yes-man that never question anything.
Dont try to be the best you can be at WS. You are basically beating your head against a brick wall. Draw a check until you can get out. Getting out is your upmost priority right now. Layoffs will continue all year.
