Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Rate Ginny

While everyone is waiting for the RA in a few weeks, take a few minutes to go to glassdoor.com and provide an anonymous review of your experience at IBM. It's a pretty quick process and it also gives you a chance to give thumbs up or down on the CEO Ginny Rometti.

It does make a difference and it allows us to fight back against the bogus rave reviews that HR and the employees in 3rd world countries put there. Tell the real truth. If you already did it, you can do it again once per year.

I too thought that a truthful post about conditions at IBM would be censored but "ugl" is correct - they ARE being accepted. In fact, the tag line on mine now appears on the first results page of a Google search for "IBM redundancies 2018". There need to be more objective views on Glassdoor as so many are obvious fakes, presumably posted by IBM marketing!

Maybe they're on the outs with IBM. Perhaps Ginni didn't pay the bills or they ended their sponsorship - they solicited my post even though the one last year was very negative, and they accepted my new one and it's posted there even though it's negative. Can't hurt to go for it, we must resist, don't quit.

You guys need to know how Glassdoor operates - the majority of money they get is from sponsoring deals with companies - any given HR is in bed with them, pay them to maintain the company profile there just like we pay to LinkedIn to maintain LI master page over there - anyhow, all posts are moderated, good luck sneaking through anything that the censor does not like.
