Thread regarding Seagate Technology Inc. layoffs

Seagate = Jenga

Seagate and Jenga are amazingly similar. The game at Seagate is played by removing an increasing number of worker bees at the bottom, with the blind belief that those managers at the top (who don't do work but do manage) will be stable and fine. Problem is, there is a limit to the number of worker bees that can be removed before the whole stack collapses in a noisy conflagration. SEAGATE BE JENGA, dun be on STEROIDS.

This and the cheap TV are spot on. IT helpdesk was gutted so badly that my new laptop won't be ready for me for a month due to the backlogged leftover staff. How stupid to cut the staff that are necessary to get engineers their primary tool. Nice going STX!

Somebody got a Jenga game for Christmas. 9CMSZ couldn't wait to make up some fake news with actual statistics (in his diminutive mind anyway) that correlates perfectly with the game.

Never mind the purpose of any company is to make money. Not give honey bees jobs for life.

I'm guessing "worker bee" 9CMSZ was cut a while back and to this day cannot understand how the company continues to survive just fine without him. LOL.

A bit like the CHEAP TV analogy that was posted a while ago…
