John Fallon's Call

Thoughts on the call today? Especially in regards to restructuring this March?

And today the announcement of yet two more huge titles under KT. Chief of Staff?!? How about more headcount in implementation and support. More feet on campuses to drive revenue.

Waiting for the slaughtering to begin after selling slows. This company is a shell of what it was.

Hope you are all running away as fast as I plan to...

It’s very sad to watch Pearson implode. I have always tried to be a team player and cheer on the visions of my company. However, I don’t believe layoffs should be the go to when you have no new ideas to save the company or cannot find a way to implement them. Pearson has too many chefs in the kitchen. With all the over paid higher ups.....whom by the way....their titles are ridiculous....someone should be able to help Mr. Fallon come up with a better plan. I understand “redundancy” and the need to reduce that....I do. It’s just interesting to me that nobody is turning the microscope on Mr. Fallon. Here’s an idea.....why not replace him....maybe....just maybe...the company would do better under the leadership of someone else. Oh that’s right...that won’t happen when your cronies are being kept happy with the big bucks....earned by slaughterof Pearson employees. When a company has a reorganization that’s been in process for YEARS.....it’s time to layoff the CEO.

I am sure pearson will be selling the k 12 division and the stock will rise and then drop back in a week or so. What will be left to sell after that

I missed this call today......can someone in the Pearson way, recap that call and let us know what changes are coming. The Pearson way means tons of name dropping, mention of efficacy 50 times, and praising all the executive leadership on being masters of the universe.

Since Fallon was hired, his only idea has been layoffs, layoffs, and more layoffs. This company has lost the ability to be innovative and offer products and services that the market demands. Maybe one day the BOD will explain why they have given this man so much rope to hang the company with.

Which restructuring? It's all this company has been doing for years ... so I've lost track of what is supposed to happen in March.
