I am hearing that a group is gathering across the country to sue Cigna on age discrimination.
Anybody knows if this is true? I'd be more than happy to join this group in suing the company I gave nearly three decades of my life to just to be unceremoniously shown the door because of my age. Any info would be appreciated.

It just happened to me at H. 61.3 years of age. I presented it to attorneys and they took the case.
Any current age discrimination law suits filed against Cigna?
Yes, that happened to me at Cigna. I was age discriminated at age 50 with no pior warning The reason they gave me was job elimination but what they did is give my job to someone else on my team under a direct title - same job and responsibles but changed name of my old position and yes the employee was much younger of course!
Congratulations you were able to stay with one organization for 3 decades. Many have not been able to do this. I wouldn't spend too much time concerning myself about a lawsuit that deals with what has happened to you. I wish you the best, but many have been aged out of their jobs at 40.
