Way Intel formed new security group shows that they don't take problem seriously. Just couple of days after problem became known they did whole reorg and formed new group? That is typical for Intel, nothing changes they just name things differently... Make couple of Powerpoints and problem goes away. It just shows how they are disconnected from the enviroment.
If they planned and created this new group months before than it shows even bigger problem: that BK was aware of the issue and that will not help with insider trading issue he has.

Both are true. Intel has really gone downhill since Andy Grove left as CEO. BK is a complete moron. He does not understand business, never has, never will. The execs are just all a bunch of snivelling, conniving, bumbling scam artists who remain and keep picking likely scapegoats for their failed schemes. The employees simply go along with everything like a herd of dumb sheep.
Security is job one, but we don’t have a clue what we are doing and now the head of HR is in charge.
