Anyone care to predict?

@1igu - Personal insults as a go-to strategy won't get you far in life. You've played your hand and it was very weak, for all to see. Good luck with that.
@1mpr Reading is one thing. Reading comprehension is another. You obviously lack the latter if you managed to miss the point. Did your mother consume a lot of alcohol during pregnancy by any chance? You might want to ask her.
@ixub - No, the title of the thread is about BK, not Intel. While certainly related, they are most obviously different vectors. Please. Read.
Intel has so much great talent but the poisonous cultural of BK is the fiasco. Sad to see this once great company go like a slow mo train wreck.
No, correctly, "how will Intel fiasco end?"
ACT2
How this will end? ... He'll resign and leave with a very large go-away package. Mucho dinero for BK!!!
BKs reign will end and unlike the five before him his will be a study of all the misses more Han any great achievements
No company in the past decade was better positioned with talent and resources to capitalize on technology. Sadly had no leadership with talent and vision.
Intel most hopefully won’t disappear but technology is littered with companies that survive as a shell of what they once was, IBM and Nokia l, perhaps reborn like Microsoft and AMd, or implode like Kokak, SUN, Blackberry, Kodak etc.
Comes down to leadership that becomes real strategy with flawless execution. Intel hand had any of that the past five years, any questions?
BoD is the problem, specifically AB. BK going won't change things much.
@gap - are you even sure what thread you are on? We're talking about the demise of BK, not Intel. You played your hand and it was weak. Not your best showing there, was it?
@gap. Get back to your burger station!
People predicted the end of Intel for 2017. Now they predict it for 2019. Reminds me of a religious sect that always claims the end of the world is around the corner and keeps shifting the date when nothing happens.
Just too many sore ACT losers here who got fired for low performance and who now hope that Intel can‘t survive without them.
The full mess of his late diversification waste overpaying for misguided companies, product roadmap failures and 10nm catastroph will all become apparent in 2018 and full on FUBAR I. 2019.
The question is will the board act on the smoke in 2018 or full on wildfire in 2019. My money is the BoD is too weak currently to do anything in 2018 and 2019 will be one hell of a year for the company
It would end with business as usual.
What, you're expecting something else?
Karma is a B--ch.
Since this just happened in time for Focal, likely the following:
-
Little or no raise. Assuming they don't do a freeze on wages
-
Layoff to pay for the lawsuits born out of managements laying off experienced validation people
-
BK will be allowed to 'retire' with a golden parachute
-
Murthy will take the reins and it will be a bloodbath as he preps the sale of the company to Qualcomm, AMD and TMSC.
A huge layoff
He will trade in the unicorn shirt for striped pajamas?
He'll be replaced in the summer. After all, he has been in power since 2013 with little or no achievement and the Board may want to replace him even without the fiasco.
