New York is a complete mess there is a massive layoff coming in March and we are in huge trouble. Long island still has no techs at all. And still the workers and the union allow this because they are so weak. A really good tech in new York is about to get the ax unless the workers step up and fix the issue . What a joke the weak workers at Avaya are in New York City and long island . How can an area operate without no techs and nobody demand anything get done.

Pretty safe bet they'll be more reductions in head count going forward. My guess is after they're done thinning the heard in Europe and India, Avaya will start looking state side. This will go on until they've reached the optimal ratio of workers to managers, ie. 1:2.
Some angry people post some real garbage. Being anonymous is not a license to be an a--hole. Would be great to see who is really behind the posts. Avaya has been bloodletting talent for a long time. Management is responsible for the state of affairs. Keep your resumes ready. What else can you do.

How is that jerkoff union doing. The company always dictated to the union what deal was and always will call the shots......
