VMware reports earnings today and some of the changes will be uncovered. More Class "A" swaps for Class "C" shares. Look for Pivotal to go under VMware for all cash of about ~$8.5B. SecureWorks will pay Dell Technologies ~$6.5B for RSA to go under that umbrella. Also look for a partnership of some hosting provider to "Team Up" with VirtuStream for some money. Need to get close to ~$20B in free cash flow to refinance/pay back silver lake partners. I might be wrong on the specific money transaction but it is coming. Move the entities out to the public but retain control through stock ownership.

If true the SEC should be very interested in this basically insider shell game. Makes sense but its a little on the flaky side for the shareholders of VMware to buy Pivotal they are yesterday's news.
