I just can’t see them doing any major cuts this year with it being the 50 year mark, I would guess next year to avoid bad PR. How about another round of VSPs? Anything churning out of the rumor mill on this? For those jumping ship it’s preferable to take something with them...

No big layoffs planned this year. Just the normal squeeze of Intel Vets. Take the seperation package or don’t but .... Get People To Walk ! But no different than most other big companies.
For the 25th Anniversary, we got a small brass clock with a 4004 chip glued to the face. It was about 2 inches tall.
US BB count has been flat 50k for a very long time.. This appears to be tightly managed by HR.
A clever way to celebrate would be to lay off everyone who is 50 years old.
