Any news on next round of layoffs?
My dad works at Southwestern Energy, but when I try to get something out of him regarding what's going on at work, he lately mostly clams up.
Can't figure out if its only the increased stress at work or if he is afraid he might be laid off soon, as he has been with the company long enough to have a nice pay that puts a target on his back.

Layoffs are happening now. Several folks have already been let go. SWN is not doing the massive layoff like they did in 2016. They're slowly and quietly letting a few go at a time. More will come in the next few weeks and lots more when they finally sell off Fayetteville. No word though if these folks are getting a severance package. I'm assuming they are but you never know.
Your dad should be receiving a pretty big bonus along with a 20% pay increase. Hit him up for that new Audi now before he spends it all on some silly expensive European vacation.
There aren’t going to be any layoffs. We got a new CFO that will save the day and assure we’re all going to retire from SWN! Rest assured!
