I have never met so many stupid managers under one roof. I moved from oracle to Intel . I was laid off along with soo many folks. But we had awesome managers ; each one of them from ivy league. Currently, I am dealing with a sister team's manager !! She is hilarious. Is not punctual. Doesn't remember the discussions from previous meetings. Is least technical. Calls meeting for everything; she uses this meetings to make notes which she delivers to her manager. We can layoff this lady and I can pass the notes to her higher ups for just 1k salary bump. She is complete waste. We waste atleast 4-5 hours per week dealing with her. She is not smoothing things but delaying the overall performance of the whole team. She is MEXICAN. Supposedly Sr manager. I being in grade 7 definitely need some respect but she treats me like sh-- ! when things go wrong complaint to my manager but she forgets the time she wastes per week by asking us to attend one of her idiotic meetings. Her name starts with letter R

Layoff the Sr manager and manger at Folsom site . Barely the gpus from Folsom are any good . I promise you they cannot find a job these managers. I truely curse my manger who laid me off he/she was truely most horrible B--ch I ever met

and that's most of the managers (90%) at Intel -
u better try to transfer out of that group (by finding a better of the worst managerelsewhere) or best is get out of Intel ...
..career life is too short to tolerate incompetency of unqualified to be manager or in management r3j3cts of tech industry hiding at Intel for decades.

Management Wants FM to work and hence shut down Gdc. Removing 70% or flms and slms and few more in higher management will surely help!! Just wait for the next round of layoffs.
