The longer you work here the worse it gets. Especially since the layoffs began! They don’t promote you, but expect you to work and do the same as job listings as a director for well under 100k...when most directors are getting well above 100k... What the what?! Uhmm no! NOV get your stuff together because a lot of management is starting to look elsewhere because of your crap!

Pay is the minimum amount a company needs to give you to get you to come back tomorrow and work another day. If NOV is paying you X amount and you keep coming back, why would they pay you more?
Time for you to get serious and give them an ultimatum if you’re unhappy, but you got to be ready to walk if they dont give you more.

Why don't you use your fancy experience and get a job where you get paid more. Or perhaps you're paid what you deserve and you're just a whiner? I'm thinking the later. If you were really "fed up" you'd have quit. Truth is, you don't do the same work as a director and are just some unimportant individual contributor.
