How Have You Sent Back Your Release Forms to HR?

When sending back your Severance Release Forms, have you sent them back by Priority Mail, Certified Mail or just regular First Class?

Certified on the 27th, delivered this morning. I'm curious to see if they send checks all at once for the weeks of paperwork transit, or just start the 25-week countdown from the first check post-receiving my waiver.

I still haven't even gotten the severance pack in the mail! I got of hold of someone in HR today and was just told that I "should have" received it by now. I requested a duplicate to be sent to me just in case.

I sent it Priority the day I received it. That gives you a tracking number. It arrived in NY two days later and I followed up with a phone call to HR to verify that they had it and hadn't misplaced it.

Plan on 3 to 10 business days to send a USPS Certified Mail letter with First Class mail delivery. You can expedite delivery by upgrading to USPS Certified Mail with Priority Delivery. This is normally 2 or 3 day service.

I sent it Priority Mail. That gives you 2-3 day delivery and tracking.

Don't send Certified. It takes too long.
