Wear Green on March 2nd Reminder

After all the crap so many of us have had to endure with CoatAss and now DairyAss we need to prove we can still ban together. Please wear green this Friday to show support for all US employees still left and for those that have been replaced with foreigners.

1kto - thanks for the advice. Good point, they give it to all of us up the @55...why make it easy access...let them earn it.

BTW, i just like saying "@55less"

-rre Chaps are by definition assless. You'd be providing easy access for Hon to give you the big one so if you follow through please use caution

kkw - I agree. complete waste of time to even discuss this when we could be using this board for what it was designed for, passing info along regarding Rifs and cuts so people are aware.

However, I may wear a pair of green a---less chaps on March 2nd to relay my dismay with the situation at Honeywell.

Wearing any color shirt will make 0 difference either way.

You won't get RIF'd for it, and it won't keep anyone from losing their job and getting offshored, because no one who matters even knows if it means anything. Including the people proposing it here.

If someone does wear green on 03/02, all it will mean is someone wore green on 03/02. Won't mean a damned thing to management, won't mean a damn thing to anyone who doesn't post or read here, and anyone who posts or reads here will have no way of knowing if someone in green is actually supporting this, or just happened to wear green that day.

Better yet - wear one of the HI shirts that you may have been given - ETS gave these out years ago or maybe your Six-SIgma shirt - a little irony goes along way :)

I have to agree.....you may as well come to work with "fire me I'm an idiot" tattooed on your forehead.

I wouldn't doubt the d1p5h1t who keeps telling everyone to wear green is an HR turd from Honeywell or a manager trying to make brownie points.

ill wear a bright green thong that day...does that count?

happy now?

It's time for Right-Wing-Creepy-Guy to explain to us why it's OK for corporations to RIF you for wearing a green shirt to work. Or to put you on the random drug test list for wearing a concert t-shirt to work.

Since HR & management monitor this site, I'd gather wearing green that day will identify you as a "conspirator" and will lead you to the next PIP or RIF list.

Someone I once knew who worked for Motorola said if you showed up at work wearing a concert t-shirt that would put you on the next random drug test list. Nobody said corporations are impartial or fair.
