Thread regarding CVS layoffs

It's all a scam

Service is ridiculous this year. They raised the targets to unreachable scores so we cant bonus and wont have successful scores. The higher they raise the targets the harder we will work to get mediocre results. We are strategically set up for failure from the start. Its all a scam.

So much this, @RR6Y0L3-jem. The targets they have set are literally not achievable. And it's not that they don't know that. They are fully aware of that fact. But it provides them with a perfect setup for minimizing costs and having "grounds" to get rid of whoever they want based on low performance (which in reality is anything but.) Scam is the perfect word for it.

All written above is 90% true. Chasing Wall Street earnings expectations could take this company down. ( Already has ) They Need Aetna to dilute impact of poor sales and profits in retail. It's far easier to cut to the bone than creatively drive growth year after year. Bad merchants tend to cut to the bone.. ( Or look for acquisitions )

BTW: Shopping at CVS can be painful when you have a cashier. No one else? Try getting a Passport or help at Kodak area. Stores are painfully light of out of product.

Larry had no problem getting a $7.8 million dollar bonus but his criteria is a little different than ours:

40% for screwing the Store Managers

40% for screwing the Pharmacists

20% for screwing the public

Totally achievable!

It’s definitely a scam!

The people that are actually meeting or exceeding targets are also cheating!

Doing their own surveys, for service scores.

Manipulating the adherence calls, putting everything on readyfull without consent, doing 6 or 7 days returns....

I mean there is a trick for every metric.

If they are scamming us we have to find ways to keep our heads above the water. It’s all a game.

Part of the problem (at least in the pharmacy) is some pharmacies are actually hitting their targets because pharmacist stay after or come in early to do the work of the techs. So when these pharmacist are working off the clock and meeting targets it give supervisors the ability to say “well billy down the street is able to meet targets, why can’t you?”

These people, at CVS Corporate, in conjunction with CEO Larry Merlo, as their leader....................is just that...........................NOT LEADERS.

Such a shame, that CVS is chasing Amazon, at the expense. of great people, who have given their all, for the company thru out many years of their lives.
