Anyone who has left Windstream and still had remaining PTO and Optional holiday along with Sick Time. Do you get paid for that if you don't use it or do you use it all? Been trying to reach HR about this.

I left voluntarily in November and received all my earned vacation payout in my final paycheck. I didn't have to do anything special to get it. Not sure how Arkansas's laws compare to other states' though.
Unused vacation time is considered earned and is not forfeited if you leave voluntarily. Roughly 25 states have laws that force them to pay it even if you’re terminated. Either way Windstream will not pay it automatically, you’ll have press them. I had to threaten to file a complaint with my states employment office before they finally complied.
Accured vacation is paid out. Optional holiday and sick time aren’t.
Unused vacation time is forfieted if you leave voluntarily. I believe the first reply is correct only for involuntary termination with no cause (reduction in force/layoff).
Optional holiday/sick are not included in any severance for sure though.
You only get paid for unused vacation time... optional holidays and sick time are lost
