UTC is United Technologies Corporation (which includes Pratt and Whitney). UTRC is United Technologies Research Center, located in Connecticut, their counterpart of GRC. I think the previous post was meant to be sarcastic. However, years ago when GE acquired RCA, the RCA Research Center in New Jersey was donated to Stanford Research Institute (SRI), so stranger things have happened!

Yeah, UTC is going split off its UTRC to form a JV with GRC. IPO will be in 2019.

Needs to be from top to bottom. There's more layers of BS (mis) management here that have no clue what they're doing, much less what their group is doing. Flush the toilet and start over.
