Albertsons just announced layoffs at its Phoenix location. I guess nobody is resistant to the current situation in retail and grocery store sector. According to WARN, 76 people will lose their jobs. Hopefully this is not just a preview of more to come...

Albertsons doesn't care for their former Safeway employees! It's so sad! There is a planned huge layoff coming up after or before the Holidays! That's why they hired new security guards who stand in front of the doors when you walk into the front doors! Wow! So much for the so called, "Freeze." They don't want to hire anymore employees but instead they hire new security guards? Smells like they are preparing for a layoff for sure.
And in other news, my friend at Harvard has overdrawn his credit card. As a result, the collection agencies are coming after him.
So he did what any sane would have done and decided to run across part of the campus butt naked at 3am.
Well, going off topic a bit, it's not helping that these people are like every other firm in the respect that they have some front office people who make 2x more than your average hourly people, but yet have no more than 3 hours worth of work.
I know because I've been on that side of the fence. I guess the whole thing is meant to be a reward for those who got an education. But in the process, the hourly workers have to take the brunt of it.
Uhh.. Ever list to Peter Thiel speak? If so, some of the stuff he talks about stems from a radical liberal manifesto.
So where is all this going? Well, put together what Thiel preaches about, then take a look at the financial forms that this company is required to file with the government.
