i pity the plight of h1-b-ers highlighted below. i oppose all discrimination and every kind of exploitation by unethical people in power.

People, do yourselves a favor, move to a different BU within VMware. Your H1-B status will remain valid. Many IT & engineering jobs in open Atlanta and even Palo Alto.

If you guys are against all Indians or only Indian fratboys or slavedrivers,just remember the slaves are overworked and no-overtime Indians in the India and the Chinese and Indians in the America.Several in America stuck in terrible legal limbo and exploited without shame by the boss.Layoffs may be a good way back home

in my dealings with euc gm sank-her, he is competent & smart but blinded by his absolute desire to please his sheithead boss at all cost. he has speculatively promoted his boss's buddy as an engineering vp, a ruthless choice, i frequently hear and read.

otoh, many say the gm has invigorated euc product management with vps from citrix. you must be wrong about product management.

Notwithstanding your choice for new EVP with a fishy name, no one even with miniscule capability to resist EUC mismanagement has survived in EUC. If you know of The Ruthless, he is a pitbull tearing in to peers and subordinates alike whereas is a perfectly performing lapdog for his EUC management.

Move to a better division like your friends, VMware is still a great company to work at. It was listed 39th best place to work, that is no simple feat.

Don't disagree but merely hiring a new GM will not make much difference. Your hero, so far a docile petfish, will not fix EUC till gangrenous rot in upper technical management in America is purged. Engineers, quality engineers & team managers in India, London, Beijing & Palo Alto are amazing. They are demoralized by the inhumane, condescending and the selfish technical directorship and VPSHIP of BU.
