If you are a young engineer, raise your head and look at the changing tech industry. Don’t bury your head in the lab bench as an ostrich. Your losers treat you like a slave and want you become as silly as them. There is no future in this fuxking junkyard. The business is shrinking and slowly going to death. You will be kicked out in your 40s with outdated skill set. Action right now! Waiting is wasting your life!

If you're a young engineer, don't stay in this company for more than 3 years. You're seriously risking your career in this shixthole, inverted pyramid of a company. All the while, just make sure you're hirable outside. Qualcomm is on a death spiral, and it's losing its name recognition in the industry.
Finally, don't stay here just for the views of San Diego. World isn't going to wait forever for your kind. Trips to a craft beer place once every 3 months isn't worth giving up serious joys of going someplace good in your career.
Unless of course you're one of those shifty guys/gals(equality!) that have been identified by your Godfather to be the next questionable promotion to Director.
