What ever happened to freebie Saturday. My store stopped doing it awhile ago. It was part of the making shopping fun again program along with the shirts and bluelight special.

No one anymore is fooled by the freebie saturday. At least the middle to upper classes. Thats why it ended just like the kching swy rewards .Why shop at a run down kmart store with high prices to get a free crayon set for your kids when walmart is much cheaper and cleaner. Freebies like to attract new Americans who are refugees. If the see free they will take it and more. Thats probably why it stopped. Free bed bug furniture, free urine soaked matteress. Free. They think they can get rich overnight in America by being cheap . I'm not trying to be racist but in our store that is what I saw. Free.
This promotion had a set begin and end date. It was never intended to be permanent. It was geared toward giveaways mainly for children.
Because they need people to buy things, not give away stuff for free anymore.
Probably failed like every promotion they did.
