Not only was Tom Peck complicit, he MADE THE SAME OUTSOURCING MESS at Levi Strauss & Co. before he came to AECOM.
This nutter has left a long wake of destruction behind him comprised of ruined and stalled IT careers of regular people and companies who no longer trust their IT. How anyone keeps bringing him on is beyond most of ours comprehension.

The recent story in COMPUTING stating that it wasn’t Pecks idea to out source IBM Is pure BS. He is complicit by job title CIO. This is a huge mess that affects revenues, personnel, and image. He needs to be a man and own up to the fact that he made a huge mistake and save what little respect anyone has for him. This is just the very tip of the iceberg.
I worked at AECOM and I can verify the outsourced IT was a mess. When I learned the IT business was going to IBM, I told AECOM employees it would be a disaster because I came from the tech world. The transfer and migration to IBM was more than a disaster, it was a complete JOKE for AECOM workers as it caused us a lot of deadline stress because the computers were down or froze along with the phones and printers. IBM is a nasty company and AECOM executives were dumb to buy into them. AECOM thought that would be saving money but they created more of a mess to their business.
Someone FINALLY figured this guy out. The bad thing is all the GOOD people were laid off by him or resigned because of him.
