Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

RELIABLE SOURCE

So now here is a kicker....HAH will be dissolved and Care Plus that is already part of Humana will be hiring 1500 people to do the program but with other twist and plans. They want all Bachelor degree nurses since can get paid higher. Plus the persons who will be doing the current HCM kind of care will be all inclusive, do home visits, UM and Care manage members.....so ALL departments of need by one person...hmmm

The source of this info is high up and in Louisville....so lets this THIS future

Good luck to them. I’m not going in anyone’s home and a lot of other RNs are not either. Have you seen how many home healthcare jobs are available? It’s too dangerous

I can see hah morphing into an at home model, but there's flaws in what you were told, humana has to have members in areas to be served, there's the hcmss and what is the time frame for this? With the plans with kindred and the transition team, I'd assume within 2 years?

Humana is good on the planning, poor on the executing. So much hiring, training, laying off. Could happen
