That gelatinous barrel of monkey spunk should know he's first in line on the butchers block. Pretty sure his cost is directly proportional to his mass, much like a tuna. Oddly enough, a real tuna would make for a more adept geologist. The PhD he touts is worth less than a packet of food stamps. Talk about somebody who has contributed nothing of tangible value, ever. The self-proclaimed, psychological mastermind has perfected the art of copy/pasting the work of others and presenting it as his own. When not doing that he will troll random meetings and interject questions that have nothing to do with the reason the meeting was called. He preys on the rotational staff because they are the only ones who haven't been with the company long enough to see that his value added is akin to the mini-golf mats on the second floor. Any other company would have sacked that dumpster fire years ago....Exxon was smart enough to run him off, why isn't SWN? When management looks at amount of value added versus cost of employment, he will be SOL. After all, anything divided by zero, is zero. He will be just fine though, there's enough fat on that frame to keep him alive for months.
Ok man all I can say is that those of us who are actually SOMEONE in this company who matter and contribute have life size pictures of ourselves on the first floor. All the haters don’t. Boom

You people need to stop spreading rumors about SWN and badmouthing our employees and managers. It truly is an amazing company to work for. Bill Way and our executive team are true leaders/visionaries who will see us through this tough time. The fact that we've made the top work place so many years proves this. My wife's boyfriend says you are all just jealous that you either got fired, laid off, or weren't qualified enough to get job here in the first place.
They could easily layoff/fire another 40% of the company and still be overstaffed.
Way’s tea, any $$ directed to his favorite charities and any other pet project or “necessity” are specifically off limits in the G&A reductions.

Maybe Layoff Consultants should be tasked to review not only salaries and who to cut BUT OTHER COST SAVING MEASURES such as this, perks given to execs and/or directors, retreats, wasted money spent on technical things, review SWn lease of buildings and renegotiate and sublease space. We don't own headquarters and NOT HIRING NEW PEOPLE BEFORE deciding if someone that is gonna be laid off can EFFICIENTLY do the job to industry standards. Also suggest CONFIDENTIAL internal peer review where consultants hear from employees without threat of being axed.
