Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Engage to Excel is officially not anonymous

When CEO says - "tolerance towards actively disengaged employees is over", it means that Gallup survey results are not anonymous and if your answers put you under actively disengaged employee category then you will lose your employment with Schlumberger.

Why would slb cares who is writing on this site? Don't they have bigger problems to solve ?? Beside in our country there is something called freedom (of speech).

I am pro slb transformation program, what I am against is slb immune system, aka relationship and unhealthy connection in company. This is big obstacle in any transformation or program anywhere.

Hope slb get rid of these useless money s---ing people soon.

Viva paal. Viva his axe!!! ;)

I agree about Schlumbergers' legendary, fubar computer systems. The management and supervisors (Victorian wordage) could not even spell VPN.

Rubbish...Schlumberger cannot even sort out their own crappy computer systems let alone figure out transient IP addresses. If you are paranoid and believe that Schlum is cleverer than is reasonable to expect then get a free VPN such as Proton from Google Play.

It is anonymous just they can work out your job, your location, your manager, your direct reports, it is like a map of who you are....

With your GIN number attached, what did you expect? You must be in management.

The Gallup survey is just a tool to confirm “objectively” what they already know. Talking about “tolerance” for disengaged employees means that the moron in chief knows nothing about employee motivation. He and his drones F* it up and now he’s taking the aggressive stance do deflect from his shortcomings.

One the employee was let go recently when he reported a major problem in the IT processes to the top IT official in the company, rather than investigating the issue, they have thrown him out.

Looking at this in two ways:

  1. Customer satisfaction been declining for past 2 years, since who ever is working here is incompetent and on payroll due to mafia driven work environment.

  2. There is no enough work actually,so why keep so many employees anyway? Just layoff idle ones.

Or maybe the staff became less and less engaged as the layoffs continued and continue to this day. When the layoffs stop, morale might improve; why can the CEO not see the correlation between HIS actions and the consequences? Worst CEO in a very long time.

HaHa! Tolerance is over? So that's why he laid off over 50k employees? This guy lost his tolerance years ago already then.

It probably is anonymous but I suspect that the results, which Schlum seems hesitant about releasing, are pretty dreadful. Then again, if Schlum employed half decent supervisors and managers, it would not need to spend ,$millions to tell it the blatently obvious.
