DXC HR has just confirmed to people managers that the Bell Curve will be rigorously enforced for the upcoming performance reviews. That means that, regardless of their actual performance and commitment, around 60% of employees will fall into the two lowest categories of the four point performance scale. You can ecpect that staff placed in the lowest performance category will be swiftly"exited" if local labor laws allow.

I can assure you 100% as a people manager with a large team that the bell curve is being strictly enforced. I do not want to do it but have been given no option. This has come straight from the top and "calibration" of the proportions have already started for "Phase 1". The percentages are 10%/35%/45%/10%.
...and Trump's a stable genius.
I can assure you from a high level - no bell curve will be enforced or utilized in any way in this year's Performance Reviews. Do not know where this information comes from, but you can trust this comment 100%.
You wont get any review or raise and the ones who actually do the work will keep getting screwed by the dead weight.
Couldn't agree more with the "Ffs just leave" commenter. I exited DXC to a much better position 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier. I still browse this board for entertainment purposes but it's astonishing to me how many are still with the company. Find something new and move on!
DXC claims there aren’t enough qualified tech workers to fill its workforce.
DXC institutes a mandatory bell curve performance system that will rate good tech workers poorly and subject them to WFR.
Logic fail.
Ffs just leave
Another 6% to 10% employee purge from Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and India is what is planned for March 2018.
This will be mostly from the HPE side. If you have not prepared yourself till now, you have only yourself to blame..
Doesn’t matter if the bell curve is in place anyway, we’ll still gain nothing as there’s been no payrises or bonuses in the UK for years. Effectively a pay cut year on year! As they keep saying there is no link between appraisals and pay increases so even if you make top grade, and I know from experience, you won’t gain anything. Don’t forget though, you do stand a chance if you get nominated for one of the three quarterly prizes! Incentive zero! Like everything Zero!
Even if the bell curve does not annoy the crap out of employees then the bonus pool will be infinitesimally small for each team. ML and his management stooges are the only winners but are they subject to the bell curve? Obviously not.
This has happened for years, same old nonsense. Senior leaders will deny it, HR will deny it, good people managers will tell you the truth.
Very drole ;-)
Apparently the highest grade is bellend
...although HPE also always denied it.
HPE did this as well.
