Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Which UK site will close after Belfast?

Southampton and Belfast were closed during/after downturn.

Who's next?

Remember - tolerance towards actively disengaged employees is over!

Qwu, this is clear description of sis NAM, this place haven't seen transformation axs, perfect hide out for well connected mafia, whenever did not have connections long gone.

Overall, as a person with more than 20 years being with sis, pts, dcs,wg,swt, I would easily say all these segment actually doing one thing and having them segmented is just waste of money and duplication.

Time for sis to merge into wg or swt

I vote for SIS HQ in London. Too expensive, mafia-ridden, useless, and the product line itself is declining. They'll probably make it a subsegment of SWT (in many respects, it already is) or merge it with the remains of WG and move downsized HQ somewhere else. Would make sense.

Stonehouse... When Brexit hits and all the EU people need visas the engineering will move out... The battery manufacturing will go to China, electronics to Houston or Paris and machining to Monterrey....
