Anyone know why the DM's are working all the inventories. So different from previous years. Anyone know why?

I saw someone here say this happens before store closings but if all the stores are doing it then I don’t know. Maybe some stores are closing and the DMs are assessing which in the district seem to be healthiest?
Probably not enough staff and trying to keep low morale from being openly discussed.
My (former) store had its inventory last Thursday and we didn't have a DM visit. The only time I remember a DM visiting was for the newly promoted store manager's first inventory.
I know the certain DMs are worried about being sued for discrimination and harassment.
They should be.
They are trying to prove their worth?
They don't trust you?
