When will they finally announce the official layoff numbers for Baden, Switzerland? According to latest info all the work should be moved to Poland.

There are many good people in Switzerland. They got the shaft because of the French. GE agreed to grow jobs there for the Alstom deal. Soon this deal will take down all GE, the EU and French really s---ered GE on that sale.

The number of GE factory workers in Switzerland is very low, a few hundred or so.
Most GE eople in Baden are slackers. Luckily they had the opportunity to give som of the worst slackers to Ansaldo. But many are still left.
Labour Rates may be high in Switzerland but you get highly qualified workers in the factories.

The offical number is 1400. Baden will eventually shut down.
It makes perfect sense to shut Switzerland down. Labour rates are far too high. No justification to keep it open one minute longer. Send all the work to Poland/India.
The place has already been picked clean of most of the expertise.
We need to all move to where the work is.

Not explicitly for Switzerland but for Croatia which GE is completely closing in 2018.
