Has anyone tried to order on line? I just tried for the better part of a hour. Gave up going to amazon!

I shop amazon all the time. It's a walk in the park compared to this web site!!
@hit-- you obviously have never shopped on Amazon or Walmart.
Agreed. The online experience is not great.
I work for Sears.
I work at Sears and thought I would give both Sears.com and Kmart.com a chance as I need to furnish my new apartment when I start university this fall. So many things on my list were "out of stock" or just not available. Others were noticeably more expensive than on other sites. I don't buy from the marketplace sellers on Sears/Kmart.com after a horrible experience trying to return a pair of shoes to the seller, so I intentionally sought out items only sold by Sears or Kmart.
When I did find some things I would like to buy, I had a ton of red notifications on top of the page that had my cart telling me that "this item is no longer in stock", right before I was about to check out. It didn't say anything when I added those items to the cart.
The frustration of trying to shop both sites wasn't worth the $150 or so I would receive from the associate discount points program. I saved at least that much through Target, Walmart, Amazon and Wayfair.
It is what it is. We are not as competitive.
I call bull! As a Kmart customer I've found their website to be miles ahead of other online retailers. They may not get as much recognition as Amazon, but Sears/Kmart have one of the slickest online operations.
Be gone troll. You posted this st 4:30 east coast time or 1:30 west coast. This is a board for sears employees who are trying to find out information that effects our livelihoods regarding our employer, not one for stock shorters.
Good bye
