I applaud your loyalties to your customers and coworkers but honestly once you're laid off from Pearson, they will not have the slightest concern for you or your future, especially your coworkers. In fact, if there are other openings that you are pursuing within Pearson and they get laid off too, it will be a dogfight for that opening. They will only console you to get information from you. Your future is only what matters and hopefully you will find opportunities at a place less toxic and about people development.

The first half of my 16 years with the company didn't feel like constant upheaval. Now, not so much. Today I'm hearing rumors of layoffs throughout HR in NJ. I used to believe in the company and what we do. Now my loyalty is to the customers I serve and my coworkers.

Instead of "Always Learning"...it's "Always Laying off"!

They are constant and you'll see positions slowly eliminated.

Do the layoffs with this company ever really have a start or finish? I just assumed they are constant.
