Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Do we have a final number on the US?

I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the whole "less than 1 percent" crap was just that - crap.

Just from posts on this forum it is obvious that the number is much higher than 1,000.

Any chance somebody knows what the final number of layoffs for the US was? Is there any way we can find out?

This is the new productivity strategy for PepsiCo unfortunately. Happens almost every year in Q1 so they can adjust Q4s numbers. Difficult to show YOY productivity and unfortunately many people that have gave their heart and some to a company are caught up in this. So glad I got out on my own terms, the stress of this alone every year was impacting my health, my family, and what I thought was a career. So much for Speed of trust PepsiCo

Less than 1% of worldwide workforce could mean that it wil be 0.01% for Europe and 0.99% for US. Don't get fooled by this 1%.

My understanding is that in Purchase about 35% of employees were let go. Can that be true? That's something like 400 out of 1200 employees. Seems high, but I did hear that.
