Thread regarding SAP layoffs

North America Layoffs

It was North America’s turn today... Services Sales was the primary target with Client Partner’s and VAT team sales staff (MaxAttention) being hit hard. Severances are reasonable by US standards. NA was final stage of the global restructuring. AP was 2 weeks ago, LATAM was last week.

Any word on early retirement? Offered at SAPNS2. Was it offered in SAP? The terms?

Is there someone here who has detailed numbers that can serve as facts (e.g. how did you obtain them)?

Some of the channel sales and services sales teams in APJ have been cut 50% of their headcount. To do this in January is a sign of desperation for SAP management. SAP is no longer the same company I joined in 1996. S4HANA is not much different from R/3 in terms of functionality. Go figure that out!
