If you are expecting to get paid don’t. I had to work an extra week and found out today i will not get paid on 15th. Just 2 days and all my deductions come out of that. How do they expect people to pay there bills. 88 sears said it takes times to process and they aren’t sure when I will get paid. Makes no sense!!!

Thanks everybody! Didn’t get paid! Told by 88 sears I won’t get a check til 2/28 since I was salary
@wmw - Check your paperwork. SHC doesn't terminate laid off employees. They keep you as employed but put you into some kind of "inactive" status. Since you're not terminated, your TPP may not count as severance pay. (At least it didn't in my state.) Be sure to hand deliver your paperwork, or call to make sure your fax was received. I faxed my info twice and payroll conveniently "lost" it even tho I had multiple confirmation memos. Submit fast then sit on them to make sure you're in the system. You're on your own the moment they walk you out, so be ready to fight for what you were legally promised. Be strong and good luck.
SHC may be in financial trouble but they do pay the payroll and severance. No worries.
I only received 3 pages to fax. Nothing else! Even asked and told I would be paid
It’s in your paperwork they give you that your pay may be delayed a week or two but you will get paid . Severance is different than regular pay and they do not have to pay it on your regular pay schedule.
I better get a f---ing check friday
If you live in California call the state labor board immediately and file a formal complaint. Suggest they do an audit to be sure this has not happened to others.
