Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Is there more than 8am and 6pm netting times 2/11

First set is at 8-11 for people that don’t work on Sundays

Second session isn’t til 6pm-9pm if you work in the morning

Which s---s in SE michigan as Friday we got 7 “” snow

Saturday 2inches if snow

Sunday we’re getting another 2-4

Just having to drive back to the store a second time s---s

Someone posted if you have a split shift there is a split shift form to sign to get 1 hr extra pay! Is that true? What if store manager says they don’t do that do I call 88 sears?

I personally think they should have just scheduled everyone at 6-9 since the store will be closed we cd all sit up in mattresses to hear the excitement

I go in st 8-12 for the ad

Then go back 6-9pm

Is this considered a split shift?

All these extra hours Sunday next week there won’t be any. I’m sure we be running negative hours. Ugh

Unless you're so badly injured that you can't even get to the store, seems like sitting around listening to a meeting for a few hours would be some easy money.

xyy: of course you don’t go. Would you be required to go if you were on medical leave? Why do people ask such obvious questions

What about if you’re off in work related injury? Are you still mandated to go to meeting?
