USPS is actually short on technically skilled people. The problem we are having is no one wants to work for DXC because the word on the street about the company is terrible, and rightfully so. I would not recommend DXC to any job seeker...hopefully the USPS NewCo will be a different situation.
I received an email the other day pushing a USPS job fair. It said something like "Pick your Co-workers". They wanted referrals from employees to attend the job fair. Like I would ever recommend a friend or family member to work at DXC. Now someone I disliked......different story. :) But I was wondering why they would have a job fair to recruit for USPS if it was being spun off. Go figure.
@RE7a3sk-3akh Public sector (USPS) is essentially all federal government contracts. However, some state government contracts are also affected. You would have been told by now if you are remaining DXC or going to the new company.
What is public sector compared to government sector that was sold off to CSRA. That is being sold to GD.
So what do we have Public Sector Government sector Commercial or is it some other bull crap
Tell me all that seem to know so much without giveing any real dam information anyone can even use.
This site a waste and of time, no concrete information and any freaking thing
I think you are right.
Probably spinning it off because they can’t best shore everybody.
Probably trying to figure out how best to displace as many USPS workers before switching over the company
They're just making it up as they go along, Whatever sounds good.....
God I am glad I am out of this freaking mess of a company. DXC just downright s---s. The whole place is one big dysfunctional exercise.
Of course its being pushed back, have we ever met a deadline?
Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Vencore, will become CEO of the new company. Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president and general manager of DXC U.S. Public Sector, will become the new company’s chief operating officer. Lawrie will chair the board.
More $$ for Lawrie and we the employee's are screwed again. Normally its good to get F***ked, but not like this
