I am based out of India and for the FIRST time I have been asked to provide names for a WFR. That too 50% of my team. There are WFR's planned for US and UK also. Names will be out by Feb mid.

How mean and insane and arrogant the last two replies.
We were all sitting in the same boat successfully working Together. We were the people who created sucesss and took pride and care for our customers and partners.
People who are now hp inc people who are now dxc people who are now part of microfocus.
We shared the same Values and cooperated or sometimes worked against each other.
Coming from hpe Software . why should we not get the same visibility and platform about our layoffs then we had when our hp or hpe collgues were laid off.
I also care what happens at hp, dxc and hpe to my ex colleagues and customers.

I got 60 days split out over 3 payments with a final payment 60-90days after I sign a WARN. I've been looking for about 6-8 weeks and have had interviews so I'm confident I'll find something. I know I was underpaid at HPE/ MF.
5hzz, to the guy in SOBO, ma. I know how it feels, i got cut from hpe sw after 20 years . . Came through aquisuations. Severance was 3 month pay only. Got new job paying almost double... didnt realize i was so low paid there.. in my 40s
Update from my post 2/13 (@RDBBQsA-5hzz) -- heard that there was at least 10% WFR'd on 2/12 at Micro Focus (HPE - SW). The word used "it was a bloodbath).

@RDBBQsA-5hzz Wow - are you saying that you got a COBRA notification weeks before your actual WFR notice?
There was a WFR (MicroFocus) yesterday, 2/12 and I was told it was all business units. I got hit. I worked in SOBO, MA and was supporting their Digital Safe product suite. Things are not going well in the product line and to make it worse, I received a COBRA benefit document a few weeks ago. I chalked it up to HR screwing up my benefit notification. Boy, was I wrong. It's a sinking ship and I'm relieved actually. I was on my 3rd manager in 11 mos (the total sum of time I was there).
FYI -- There isn't a Micro Focus thread here.
How could we have ANOTHER layoff?? We had one 3 months ago. Do you know which business units will be affected?
Give the guy a break - we probably all know people we worked with previously who are now at Microfocus. It hasn't been that long.
In other (highly related) news today, the Empire had Darth Vader lay off 3,679 entire planets, where the Rebels were gaining entirely TOOOO many (HPE) followers! (Note that they were specifically HPE followers, so THIS post is RELEVANT!)
