Exactly. AAP missed the boat on discount online auto parts and is losing significant market share to Rockauto, just like Sears and Kmart got ambushed by Amazon and Walmart. Now Amazon and Walmart are taking the mid-market business away from AAP. Factor in AAP's poor understanding of the commercial market, even after it bought and dismantled Carquest, and there is no safe harbor left for this ship, adrift and slowly sinking.
This company has been on a downward trend for a while now, with any luck they will fall by the way side slowly and painfully like Sears and Kmart. There are more then enough customer options for auto parts and one less will not matter.
